It's about time...

Why should give'emhell be taken over by a bunch or Harry Reid haters!

I support you all the way friends of give'emhell Harry!

This website has been a hate site for those that hate Harry Reid for too long...

Thanks for finally doing something about it...

Your rules of abuse are there for everyone to see...

Thanks...

It doesn't make sense to have a site that makes Harry Reid look bad all the time does it?
Poor Harry Reid

"It doesn't make sense to have a site that makes Harry Reid look bad all the time does it?"

TG, every single time you post a comment here on Giveemhellharry, you make poor Mr. Reid look bad.

You blatantly display your obsequious worship of Senator Reid and that can be viewed as a positive thing. Everyone needs to know they're loved and supported.

The problem lies in between the lines of sycophantic ass kissing, ya know the lines where you're ranting and name-calling viciously at anyone that questions your limited opinions.

Real, ordinary people browse around surfing the net and run across your posts. They recognize your posts as the vindictive ruminations of someone not in control of their temper or the rest of their faculties for that matter. Then they see how steadfastly you support Mr. Reid in total, just because you're so obsessed with him.

The logical conclusion they draw is this: If this Bozo TG worships Mr. Reid so blindly and obviously doesn't know shit about anything else, let's vote for anybody other than Senator Reid.

If you really care about the democratic party in general, and Harry Reid in particular, you will VOLUNTARILY curtail your venomous comments. I personally like the Senator and find it incredibly sad that people might relate your posts to the poor man. It would be devastating to his reputation.

Once again, I humbly beseech you for Harry's sake to do one of two things.

1. Stop tooting Harry's horn continually, or:

2. Cease your irrelevant, vicious comments aimed at the sane posters on this blog.

Thank you for considering this serious matter.

I asked you last time for a peace treaty...

Your fight against me because I support Harry Reid all the way by surfers on the internet only show that there are defenders of Harry Reid that believe in Harry and will fight for Harry because he is right!

Poor Harry Reid posts reflect weakness just like poor daddy posts...

This site needs to take charge of a strong pro Harry Reid Stance for those that chance on the site instead of a site that makes Harry Reid look like a joke!

You are the main poster that makes this site look like a joke!

I will accept a counter peace agreement if you want...

If not: as you would say in your vulgar moments "fuck you!"

This is your last chance for a peace treaty!

I would love to work with you instead of against you!

OK, so why are you on this blog anyway?

If you're just here to be a pain in the A__ then you deserve to be thrown out.

You guys always like to call us stalinists, lefties etc. However what about conservative blogs. They don't even let you join if you don't agree with their side.

What about talk radio, and TV. They are all dominated by vitriolic jackasses like Rush Limbaugh, and O'Reilly. They never even permit someone to utter a word against what they say, ---bleep---hangup.

It's so funny, when the right get's a taste of their own medicine they always choke on it.

free country = get your own blog
By Leo Brown Jul 28th 2007 at 8:00 pm EDT
This site is unusual for both the left and the right posting a lot, not to mention the forgotten middle. However, I must say that some of the posts are, well, undignified, and I can hardly imagine another senator allowing so many attacks on himself (or herself) to be published. Bill O’Reilly seems to on a tear about hateful posts on Daily Kos, so maybe somebody decided to clean up the posts here. It is a free country, but that means you are free to get your own blog if you don’t like this one. LV’s Vietnam service gives him certain veteran’s rights, even a certain moral standing, but it doesn’t give him any more or any fewer free speech rights than any other citizen. I harbor no ill will against LV or Clinton H. LV caused me to look into various charges against Harry, which I found wanting. I miss the sparing match I had with another poster over Scooter Libby. That was a great discussion. I regret I didn’t have more time to spend with that. And Scooter was, after all, finally convicted with a Republican appointed prosecutor, a Republican appointed judge, and a Republican financed defense team, only to get a Republican commutation of sentence. If the level of the discussion on this blog could be raised to the level of that discussion, it would be a better blog.

The topic of this thread is ActBlue. Anyone want to contribute?

Hi Leo....

Your first line hits the nail on the head.
There are alot of blogs out there, but this one evolved with a more eclectic bent. It is refreshing to hear many sides of the same issue. I over-reacted a little on the censorship thing, but you are correct, friends of Harry are within their rights to boot whoever they wish and I concede that. I don't have to like it, but what is, is.

You said:

"LV’s Vietnam service gives him certain veteran’s rights, even a certain moral standing, but it doesn’t give him any more or any fewer free speech rights than any other citizen."

My point in a previous post was not that LV should have more or less free speech rights than others. My point was that LV had EARNED that right by virtue of his service as opposed to having the right HANDED to him by virtue of just being born in America.
We may be saying the same thing in different ways. You called it "a certain moral standing." I say he "earned his free speech rights".

By the way, thanks for the belly laugh with this line:

" I must say that some of the posts are, well, undignified,"

Ya think?? LOL! I had to pick myself up off the floor after reading that one. Thanks!

Re: Scooter Libby
I'm sure the commutation didn't surprise you. My only surprise was that it wasn't a full pardon, but that will come before bush leaves office (if he decides to allow us another election).

Good evening to you.

Truth be told, I give to individual candidates. My funds are sufficiently modest that I am in no danger of running afoul of the campaign laws. Senator Obama seems to be getting a huge number of small donations. Good for him. The Arizona Clean Elections Law looks like a reasonable and constitutional approach to campaign financing. Link
