So what gives? The Bush Administration makes some false claims to scare members of congress and you fall for it?

You democrats took back power because we gave it to you. I have to say, the approval rating you are getting in congress now is well deserved. You guys earned it and I'm sure with the recent FISA bill you're about to drop another few points.

Do the job you were elected to do. Defund the war. Show you have some backbone. Impeach Gonzales.

You see if you want to show how tough you are you have to take tough action. Subpoenas were a start. A deadline to respond was a good idea. When they then ignore you and refuse to show up, tough action would be to file charges, demand action from the justice department and when they don't act IMPEACH.

But what did you do? "Ok, we'll give you another month then, but this time you better show up or you'll be in big trouble." If it weren't so serious it would be funny.

Crimes have been committed, the constitution has been trampled, civil liberties are eroding and you are now in power and you are letting it happen, and now with the vote on FISA you are actually helping it happen. Are you going to continue your smoke screens or are you going to do your job and hold this administration accountable for their crimes?

If you can't do your job then you need to step aside and allow someone in who can.
